You are invited to the Humans Being Thinking and Planning Session on Tuesday 11th May 1pm – 2.30pm. The topic is ‘After lockdown – what next?’
As lockdown and covid restrictions start coming to an end (touch wood) most people have some anxiety about returning to normal life. But many of us won’t be returning to normal life at all – bereavements, isolation, job losses and the other strains of the past year have changed lives forever.
But there are also new opportunities, new connections and a hope that we can come out of this crisis with stronger and kinder communities than before. What have we learned in the past year about supporting ourselves and each other? What parts of our communities are in danger of being left behind? What can we do next?
Thinking and Planning sessions are when Humans Being friends, members and supporters get together to use their experiences and ideas to shape the way we work. It will be an informal, chatty, mixed-gender group – a chance to share your ideas on the topic. Anyone living or working in Leeds with an interest in mental health and gender issues is welcome.
